Job summary

JBS USA in Greeley, CO is seeking an Hourly Sanitation Support to join the Sanitation team. Position starts at $23.50 per hour with paid vacation/holidays and medical, dental, vision benefits. Responsibilities include cleaning, sanitizing, and upholding GMP/SSOP standards in a cold manufacturing environment.

Full-time role with potential overtime, weekends, and holidays. Applicants must be 18+, authorized to work in the US, and able to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 75 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Authorized to work in the US.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Full-time M-F; weekends, holidays and overtime as needed.
• Experience in sanitation or related field preferred.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including bending, lifting and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Understand sanitation operations and perform cleaning, scrubbing and sanitizing.
• Follow established sanitation protocols to maintain cleanliness and meet regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and inspect work areas to improve efficiency and safety.
• Foster a positive work environment and encourage teamwork and open communication.
• Ensure safety compliance and report hazards to management.
• Maintain storage area for sanitation supplies and chemicals.
• Understand Food Safety, GMP, SSOP requirements and pace flow.
• Lift up to 75 lbs. and perform tasks requiring standing or walking.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Understand sanitation operations:
  • Perform hand-on sanitation activities, including cleaning, scrubbing and sanitizing, and organizing work areas and equipment.
  • Follow established sanitation protocols and procedures to maintain cleanliness and meet regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and inspect work areas to identify and address sanitation processes for increased efficiency and effectiveness.
• Foster a positive work environment, encouraging teamwork and open communication.
• Safety and compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and regulations during sanitation processes.
  • Identify and report any safety hazards or concerns to management
  • Maintain a clean and organized storage area for sanitation supplies and chemicals
• Understand Food Safety, GMP, SSOP requirements
• Understand pace flow
• Maintain labor standards and pace
• Constant walking and or standing
• Use of hands to fingers
• Feel objects
• Reach with hands and arms
• Lift up to 75 lbs.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Authorized to work in the US
• 18 years of age or more
• Able to work fulltime M-F; Weekends, holidays and overtime as needed
• Previous experience in sanitation or related field if preferred
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including bending, twisting, lifting and standing for extended periods
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
• Basic knowledge of safety protocols and regulations
