Job summary

Forgent Power Solutions, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Sanitation Supervisor to lead daily cleaning operations across break rooms, offices, and restrooms in a manufacturing facility.

You will oversee sanitation staff, enforce safety standards, and drive continuous improvement in cleanliness and compliance. The role requires 2–5 years of custodial experience in a manufacturing setting, plus 1+ year in supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; associates preferred.
• 2–5 years custodial/sanitation in manufacturing.
• 1+ year supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and OSHA safety standards.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, schedule, and assign daily sanitation tasks.
• Ensure all areas meet cleanliness standards.
• Conduct inspections and audits for quality and compliance.
• Train and coach sanitation staff on procedures, safety, and chemical handling.
• Monitor inventory and reorder supplies.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and SDS compliance.
• Address performance issues per policy.
• Collaborate with maintenance to resolve issues.
• Support deep cleaning and audits.
• Document cleaning schedules and corrective actions.
• Promote safety policies including PPE.
