Job summary

Kitchen Fresh Foods is seeking a Sanitation Supervisor with food manufacturing experience to lead daily sanitation activities and strengthen sanitation programs. You will work with Production, QA, and Maintenance to ensure readiness for audits and compliance with HACCP, GMPs, and SOPs.

You will train and coach staff, maintain documentation, and help resolve issues through corrective actions while supporting quality and safety across shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of QA experience in food manufacturing.
• Knowledge of food production practices, sanitation procedures, and safety requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication across departments.
• Attention to detail and accurate documentation.
• Familiarity with quality management systems and software.
• Ability to support production operations across shifts when needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily sanitation activities: coordinate cleaning tasks, verify completion, and document results.
• Strengthen sanitation programs: develop/update SSOPs and master sanitation schedules; validate effectiveness.
• Support food safety and quality: partner with QA on HACCP, SOPs, GMPs; verify checks against specs.
• Train and coach employees: provide sanitation training and address performance concerns.
• Inspect and resolve issues: conduct weekly zone inspections and monthly facility inspections; investigate concerns and implement actions.
• Keep resources and records organized: monitor equipment, inventory, and prepare quality reports; coordinate maintenance.
• Support audit readiness: assist with customer, third-party, and government audits; identify improvement opportunities.
