Job summary

Campbell's in Downingtown seeks a sanitation supervisor to lead our cleaning and hygiene programs in a frozen foods environment. You will drive compliance with AIB, FDA, and internal standards, and manage budgets, training, and continuous improvement with production teams.

The role reports to the Sanitation Manager and requires strong leadership, hands-on operation, and a focus on safety and quality. This is a full-time, on-site position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required, or Bachelor’s degree with sanitation exposure.
• 2+ years of sanitation experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Or Bachelor’s Degree with 3 months sanitation experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to ensure compliance with AIB Food Safety Standards, FDA, and other auditing bodies.
• Manage custodial and waste services to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards.
• Work weekends as required to uphold sanitation standards and address urgent issues.
• Oversee chemical usage and safety training within the sanitation department.
• Maintain a cost-effective sanitation budget and optimize resources.
• Inspect equipment for compliance with federal/state sanitation laws and plant standards.
• Direct cleaning operations and supervise staff to ensure a clean, safe environment.
• Collaborate on continuous improvement and recommend changes for better sanitation and product purity.
• Lead CAPA and root-cause evaluation from internal and external audits.
