Conagra Brands is seeking a Plant Sanitation Lead on 3rd shift (Mon-Fri 6pm-3am; Saturdays as needed) to drive safety, quality, and productivity. You will supervise the sanitation team, remove bottlenecks, and ensure resources align to business needs while fostering a high-performing, compliant work environment.

The role emphasizes training, coaching, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced food manufacturing setting, with a focus on food safety and operational excellence.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 3+ years of supervisory experience, preferably in manufacturing or food processing.
  • Ability to work weekends and 3rd shift.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment focused on safety, quality, and operational performance.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams).
  • Experience leading teams, coaching employees, and driving accountability.
  • Experience identifying process improvements and implementing corrective actions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead sanitation team members to execute daily plans that meet quality, productivity, and cost objectives.
  • Monitor sanitation performance and ensure established sanitation standards are maintained.
  • Identify operational issues and bottlenecks and lead structured problem-solving activities to resolve them.
  • Support food safety and sanitation programs to maintain a clean, food-safe manufacturing environment.
  • Ensure personnel, equipment, and materials are available to meet sanitation and production requirements.
  • Provide training, coaching, and feedback to support employee development and performance.
  • Drive execution and sustainment of standard work and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in daily direction setting activities and support achievement of daily operational goals.
  • Lead shift handoff meetings to promote alignment, communication, and operational continuity.
  • Ensure compliance with plant rules, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Promote and support plant and company safety programs and adherence to defined safety requirements.

Job description

Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will lead plant sanitation operations and continuous improvement efforts to achieve safety, quality, productivity, and cost objectives. You will guide sanitation team members in executing daily plans, identify and resolve operational constraints, ensure resources are aligned to business needs, and foster a collaborative, high-performing work environment focused on food safety and operational excellence. Shift details: 3rd Shift: Monday through Friday, 6pm – 3am; Saturdays based on business needs.

Physical Requirements

When visiting these sites, the physical requirements below may apply: You may be required to walk around the facility, climb stairs/ladders, kneel, or perform repetitive tasks that require hand-eye coordination. You may be required to lift or carry materials that can vary in weight and size. This is a manufacturing environment with large, moving equipment. Noise levels can be high, and temperatures may vary.

Compensation

Pay Range:$59,000-$79,000 The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
