Judge Direct Placement seeks a Sanitation Supervisor in the Louisville, KY area to lead sanitation programs, train staff, and ensure regulatory compliance. The role requires a bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years of progressive sanitation experience, with HACCP and FDA/USDA familiarity.

A rotating schedule and bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are preferred. Responsibilities include managing sanitation systems, coordinating daily activities, and driving continuous improvement in line with USDA

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3-5 years of progressive experience in sanitation leadership.
• Knowledge of HACCP plans and food safety regulations.
• Familiarity with FDA/USDA regulations.
• Willingness to work rotating schedules; bilingual preferred.

Responsabilités

• Lead and oversee all plant sanitation programs and training.
• Develop and execute daily/weekly sanitation activities.
• Manage sanitation systems and documentation (SOPs, MMP, etc.).
• Collaborate with leadership to improve sanitation performance.
• Conduct inspections and ensure corrective actions are completed.
• Identify and address food safety risks promptly.
• Provide leadership and coaching to sanitation team.
• Evaluate performance and support ongoing training.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, customer, and quality standards.

Judge Direct Placement is seeking a Sanitation Supervisor in Louisville, KY area!

• MUST be open to rotating schedule ***

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all plant sanitation programs, including training team members, implementing best practices, and monitoring operational effectiveness.
• Develop and execute daily, weekly, and scheduled sanitation activities to maintain a clean, safe, and compliant production environment.
• Manage key sanitation systems and documentation, including the Master Cleaning Schedule, SSOPs, Environmental Monitoring Program, and continuous improvement initiatives in accordance with USDA requirements.
• Collaborate with plant leadership to enhance sanitation performance, drive process improvements, and support operational goals.
• Conduct routine inspections, audits, and assessments, ensuring corrective actions are identified, tracked, and completed in a timely manner.
• Proactively identify and elevate food safety risks, taking immediate corrective action when necessary.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and accountability to sanitation team members while ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Evaluate employee performance, communicate expectations, and support ongoing training and professional development.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory, customer, and company food safety, sanitation, and quality standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) preferred
• 3-5 years of progressive experience
• Knowledge of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points plans
• Familiarity with FDA and USDA regulations
• Wet and Dry clean experience, as well as the 7 steps of Sanitation
• Working knowledge of Total Productive Maintenance principles
• Knowledge of plant equipment, sanitation processes, and safety practices
• Understanding of microbiology related to sanitation practices preferred
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and operational losses
• Ability to work an alternative and rotating schedule
