Job summary

GDI Integrated Facility Services is seeking a Site Sanitation Supervisor to manage the sanitation functions for a client facility in Illinois. You will ensure 100% sanitation and train and support a sanitation team using best practices.

Responsibilities include shift planning, payroll, SOP/MSS development, audits, and process improvements to deliver high quality sanitation while meeting deadlines. Prior experience with USDA is a plus and bilingual skills are valued.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• USDA experience is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer skills.
• Ability to work weekends and different shifts based on customer needs.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Interface with valued customer, meeting daily requests and planning, creating and dispersing reports, and participating in plant audits.
• Designate shift and area work assignments ensuring work is carried out in an orderly manner.
• Develop and maintain project lists for the project crew.
• Provide on-the-job training.
• Maintain all pertinent records, reports, and paperwork as needed.
• Handle payroll including payroll reports.
• Supervising and coordinating sanitation employees for Night shift-4 to 5 days per week.
• Ensure the highest level of sanitation, safety, and quality for produced products.
• Monitor and evaluate plant sanitation practices, processes, and methods.
• Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and MSS (Master Sanitation Schedule).
• Attend meetings impacting sanitation planning and effectiveness.
• Support and implement processes and system improvements to provide lowest cost, highest quality, and on-time delivery initiatives while maintaining sanitary conditions.

About The Position

You will ensure that the sanitation of the facility is, without question, 100% and that your team will be the best trained/supported through utilization of best possible sanitation practices.

You Will

• Creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and MSS (Master Sanitation Schedule)
• Attends meetings that have an impact on sanitation planning and effectiveness
• Supports and implements processes and system improvements to continually provide the lowest cost, highest quality and on-time delivery initiatives, while maintaining optimum sanitary conditions Develops and recommends continually facility and equipment improvements and cleaning procedures

About You

• Bilingual in English/Spanish is a PLUS
• USDA experience PLUS
• Microsoft Office and general computer competency
• Ability to work independently and work effectively under strict time constraints
• Ability to work weekends and different shifts from time to time based on customer needs.

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
