Job summary

GDI, Inc. is seeking a Site Sanitation Manager to oversee sanitation for a client facility. You will ensure 100% sanitation and lead a three-shift sanitation team with emphasis on training, records, and safety.

Interface with the customer, develop SOPs, monitor practices, and drive continuous improvement in sanitation quality and cost effectiveness. Bilingual ability is a plus and USDA experience is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English/Spanish is a PLUS.
• USDA experience is a PLUS.
• Microsoft Office and general computer competency.
• Ability to work independently and under strict time constraints.
• Ability to work weekends and different shifts based on customer needs.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Interface with valued customer, meeting daily requests, preparing reports, and participating in audits.
• Designate shift and area work assignments ensuring orderly execution.
• Develop and maintain project lists for the project crew.
• Provide on-the-job training.
• Maintain all records, reports and payroll paperwork.
• Supervising sanitation employees for three shifts.
• Ensure highest sanitation, safety, and quality for products produced.
• Monitor sanitation practices, processes and methods.
• Create SOPs and MSS (Master Sanitation Schedule).
• Attend meetings impacting sanitation planning and effectiveness.
• Support process improvements to reduce cost and improve quality and on-time delivery.

ABOUT THE POSITION:

As our Site Sanitation Manager, you will provide complete management of the sanitation functions for the client facility. You will ensure that the sanitation of the facility is, without question, 100% and that your team will be the best trained/supported through utilization of best possible sanitation practices.

YOU WILL:

• Interface with valued customer, meeting their daily requests and project planning, creating and dispersing required reports, and participating in plant audits
• Designate shift and area work assignments ensuring work is carried out in a proper and orderly manner
• Develop and maintain project lists for the project crew
• Ability to provide on-the-job training
• Maintain all Pertinent Records, Reports and paperwork as needed
• Handle payroll including payroll reports
• Administrating, supervising, and coordinating sanitation employees for three shifts
• Ensuring the highest level of sanitation, safety, and quality for the products produced
• Monitors and evaluates plant sanitation practices, processes and methods
• Creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and MSS (Master Sanitation Schedule)
• Attends meetings that have an impact on sanitation planning and effectiveness
• Supports and implements processes and system improvements to continually provide the lowest cost, highest quality and on-time delivery initiatives, while maintaining optimum sanitary conditions Develops and recommends continually facility and equipment improvements and cleaning procedures

ABOUT YOU:
