Jimmysbakery is seeking a reliable Sanitation Supervisor to maintain a clean, safe, and organized food-production and warehouse environment in Carteret, NJ. The role runs from 7 AM to 3 PM, with a focus on sanitation, equipment cleanliness, and safety compliance.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred for this team-oriented facility.

Description

We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Sanitation Supervisor to help maintain a clean, safe, and organized food-production and warehouse environment. The shift is from 7 AM to 3 PM.

Requirements

• Clean and sanitize floors, appliances, furniture, restrooms, and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum floors as needed.
• Collect and dispose of trash.
• Properly use cleaning chemicals and equipment according to safety procedures.
• Monitor the work environment and report maintenance needs or unsafe conditions.
• Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
• Ability to safely handle cleaning chemicals, including some potentially hazardous products.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, and lift up to 20 lbs.
• Ability to work in a food production and warehouse environment with moderate to loud noise and exposure to cleaning chemicals.
• No formal education requirement.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
