Job summary

New Weds Foods in Gerald, MO is seeking a highly motivated individual for our Sanitation Department on 1st shift. You will perform housekeeping and cleaning across production, offices, restrooms, and common areas to help meet quality and safety goals.

Responsibilities include following product warnings and SDS, diluting chemicals correctly, vacuuming, mopping, trash removal, and restroom and locker room cleaning. Prior janitorial experience in food manufacturing is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year janitorial experience in a food manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Follow instructions on warning labels and SDS sheets.
• Dilute chemicals per instructions and maintain proper procedure.
• Clean lobby, offices, lunchroom, restrooms, locker room, and rest areas daily.
• Vacuum, mop, dust, and trash removal in production areas and offices.
• Maintain cleanliness of warehouse, lab, and other areas as assigned.
• Ensure no spillages are left overnight and maintain a safe, sanitary facility.
