Bon Appétit Management Company is hiring a Dishwasher at Exelixis in Alameda, CA to maintain dishes, pots, pans, trays, and kitchen work areas in clean, sanitary condition while supporting a smooth-running kitchen.

Full-time schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Must have a valid ServSafe or Food Handlers’ certification. Pay is $20.00 to $21.00 per hour. Applications are accepted online.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid ServSafe or Food Handlers’ certification.
• Ability to maintain dishes, pots, pans, trays, and kitchen areas in sanitary condition.

Responsibilities

• Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or with a machine; ensures complete cleanliness and sanitation.
• Washes pots, pans and trays; maintains cleanliness and sanitation.
• Polishes silver items as required; maintains safety and sanitation standards.
• Maintains temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by standards.
• Keeps dish area orderly and compliant with safety standards.
• Sweeps and mops kitchen floors and cleans work surfaces.
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Assists with loading/unloading supplies and other duties as assigned.
