Job summary

Ecowize North America seeks a Sanitation Site Manager to lead day-to-day sanitation operations at a food manufacturing facility. You will manage a team, ensure clean, compliant, and production-ready environments, and collaborate with area managers and customer leadership to drive accountability and continuous improvement.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, and strong relationships with customers, regulatory bodies, and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of leadership experience within food manufacturing, sanitation or food production operations.
• Experience leading sanitation teams in USDA and/or FDA regulated facilities.
• Strong knowledge of USDA/FDA regulations, GFSI Standards (SQF/BRCGS).
• Working knowledge of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Hazard Communication (HAZCOM), PPE requirements, and chemical safety.

Responsibilities

• Lead sanitation operations and develop a high-performing team focused on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Recruit, interview, hire, and onboard sanitation staff; provide training and ongoing development.
• Conduct performance evaluations and regular coaching; manage attendance, scheduling, and labor utilization.
