Job summary

Ecowize USA Canton, Michigan, United States is seeking a Sanitation Site Manager to lead sanitation operations at a food manufacturing facility. You will oversee a team of sanitation professionals ensuring every area is clean, sanitized, inspected, and production-ready daily.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of leadership in food manufacturing sanitation.
• Experience leading sanitation teams in USDA/FDA regulated facilities.
• Strong knowledge of SSOPs, GMPs, allergen controls and GFSI standards.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred or required by customer.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
• Experience with labor management, budgeting, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Build and develop a high-performing sanitation team focused on safety and quality.
• Recruit, interview, hire, and onboard sanitation staff.
• Provide training, coaching, and ongoing employee development.
• Conduct performance evaluations and coaching sessions.
• Manage attendance, scheduling, labor utilization, and overtime.
• Maintain relationships with customer, regulators, and internal teams.
• Ensure sanitation activities comply with Ecowize standards and regulations.
• Lead incident reporting and corrective actions.
