Job summary

Ecowize North America is seeking a Sanitation Safety Supervisor to lead daily sanitation, enforce safety protocols, and manage documentation and inventory. You will train staff, perform pre-operational audits, and drive continuous improvement to ensure safe, compliant operations.

Reporting to the Site Manager, you’ll collaborate with operations and leadership to maintain high sanitation standards, while supporting a shift-based team across plant cleaning activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred in Food Science, Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Public Health, or related field.
• 1 to 5+ years in food manufacturing, industrial sanitation, quality assurance, or industrial safety; lead or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of cleaning chemicals, titration, sanitizer properties, and safety frameworks (OSHA, HACCP, PCQI, SQF, SSOP, GMP).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and plant management software.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily sanitation operations, crew schedules, and MSS for production lines and facilities.
• Enforce OSHA, FDA, USDA, HACCP, SQF, SSOP, and GMP standards across all shifts.
• Maintain sanitation logs, chemical inventories, CARs, and pre-operational checklists with plant software and spreadsheets.
• Monitor chemical concentrations and inventory of disinfectants, PPE, and sanitation supplies.
• Lead and train sanitation technicians on chemical handling, LOTO, HAZCOMM, site safety protocols.
