Job summary

Ecowize North America is seeking a Sanitation Safety Supervisor to lead daily sanitation operations in our Virginia facility. You will manage MSS, ensure OSHA, FDA, HACCP, SQF, and GMP compliance, and maintain meticulous logs and inventories while coaching site technicians.

You will report to the Site Manager and collaborate with operations and leadership to drive safe, efficient shifts and continuous improvement in sanitation programs.

Qualifications

• 1–5+ years of experience in food manufacturing, industrial sanitation, or related safety roles.
• Strong understanding of OSHA, HACCP, SQF, SSOP, and GMP.
• Proven leadership and people-management skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including overnight/third shift, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily sanitation operations, crew scheduling, and MSS for production lines and facilities.
• Enforce OSHA, FDA, USDA, HACCP, SQF, SSOP, and GMP standards across shifts.
• Maintain sanitation logs, chemical inventories, CARs, and pre-operational checklists with plant software and spreadsheets.
• Monitor chemical inventories and PPE, and supervise disinfectant handling.
• Conduct pre-operational and random facility audits; manage corrective actions.
• Train and mentor sanitation technicians on chemical handling, LOTO, and site safety procedures.
• Communicate across shifts to ensure safe, efficient operations.
