## Sanitation Opr PR05-3SApply: Newbern Plant - Newbern, Tennessee: Full time: Posted Today: End Date: October 13, 2026 (3 days left to apply): R0489154**Job Details:****Schedule - Monday - Friday with possible Saturday's****Hours - 7:30 pm - until finished****Pay - 23.65/Hr. plus 1.00 shift differential****Job Description:*** This position is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing work areas and, assembling and disassembling equipment while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.* Dry pickup area.* Break down and set up equipment where needed.* Use of high-pressure hose to rinse area and floor.* Use of various chemicals to foam and scrub floor.* Visually check area for cleanliness.* Ability to work closely with Quality Assurance and USDA.* Uphold the principals of SQF 2000.* Work schedule will vary depending on production Perform various other tasks as assigned by Lead person, Supervisor or Superintendent.**REQUIREMENTS:*** Must be willing and able to work in temperatures less than or equal to 35 degrees Fahrenheit temperature for minimum of 8 hours.* Ability to become certified in Tyson’s Lock Out/Tag Out program.* Must be willing and able to pinch/grip product/equipment.* Familiar with safe operation and use of high-pressure hoses and sanitation chemicals.* Must be willing and able to perform the following task for periods of 8 hours on concrete floor, some of which may include but is not limited to bending, twisting, reaching, standing, stooping, walking, climbing, and lifting.* Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.* **“Physical Requirements: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.”** * **Must have 6 MThs continuous employment in the last 18 months.
