Ventura Foods is hiring a Sanitation Operator in Ontario, CA, onsite with a second shift. The role involves disassembly, sanitizing, and reassembly of processing equipment and extensive cleaning duties across the facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years sanitation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to worker safety, GMP, food safety, and customer-specific practices; keep areas clean and hazard-free.
• Perform cleaning on all process equipment; inspect pre-cleaning and report safety concerns; follow SSOPs.
• Clean throughout the facility, including lunchroom, locker room, and sinks; manage waste, floor care, and pest control support.
• Perform daily pre-cleaning tasks, ensure PPE availability and correct usage.
• Notify management of safety, product quality or integrity issues; complete paperwork; manage nightly tasks and equipment checks.
