Job summary

Revolution Foods is seeking a dedicated sanitation associate in California to clean and sanitize equipment, unload dock items, and maintain a compliant, hazard-free environment. You will operate various machines with training, manage waste, and follow GMP standards while working on your feet most of the day.

The role requires English literacy, ability to lift 50 pounds, and flexibility to work mornings, afternoons, and evenings in a manufacturing setting. High school diploma or GED preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate and read labels in English.
• Knowledge of SOPs in manufacturing facility preferred.
• Able to work with others or independently.
• Knowledge of safe sanitation procedures in manufacturing setting highly preferred.
• Ability to stand frequently.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform related requirements.
• Ability to bend, twist and perform hand/arm motions.
• Ability to work mornings, afternoons and evenings.
• Experience in cleaning facilities.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience in a time-sensitive environment preferred.
• Experience with manual pallet jacks preferred.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize food processing equipment, bread trays, carts, and trash bins.
• Set-downs, washing, sanitizing, and set-ups with various machinery (training provided).
• Dispose of food waste daily following the Green Waste program.
• Maintain a clean, safe food safety environment per company policies.
• Adhere to GMP with clean, organized, hazard-free spaces.
• Use required PPE: safety glasses, masks, gloves, boots, aprons.
• Sweep and mop floors and stairs.
• Refill chemicals and use cleaners as needed.
• Report issues to management and keep equipment sanitized.
• Follow the master sanitation chart at all times.
• Unload equipment in the dock (ice caddies, milk coolers, etc.).
• Perform janitorial and deep cleaning of offices, production spaces, docks, and warehouses.
• Work physically, on your feet 99% of the time.
• Perform all other duties assigned.
