Job summary

ARAMARK seeks a capable Assistant Sanitation Manager to help plan, execute, and manage daily sanitation activities at the client location. You will support safety, quality, and productivity, while maintaining strong client relationships and guiding a team in a fast-paced environment.

The role involves governing budgets, labor costs, and growth objectives, with focus on audits, training, and continuous improvement. A flexible schedule and proficiency with MS Office are required to succeed.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of previous management experience in a fast-paced sanitation/production environment.
• Associate degree in business administration.
• Computer literate: be able to compile reports, create presentations, understands Microsoft Office computer programs (excel, ppt, word).
• Ability to stand for up to 16 hours, lift up to 50 lbs., bend, stoop, climb, and work around or under equipment as needed.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening and maintain reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Follow established procedures, GMPs, safety standards, and company policies to ensure compliance and operational excellence.
• Maintain high standards of quality, sanitation, and safety throughout the facility, equipment, and work areas.
• Support and administer the Aramark Sanitation OPX Program, MSS program, and monthly Go Spot Check audits.
• Conduct routine facility inspections, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Provide safety orientation, training, and ongoing coaching to employees while promoting a zero-incident culture.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships by delivering contracted services, tracking KPIs, and supporting customer retention initiatives.
• Assist with employee recruitment, training, development, performance management, and retention efforts.
• Support operational productivity through quality assurance processes, customer audits, food safety inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist in managing budgets, labor costs, revenue, invoicing, collections, and business growth objectives.
• Maintain proficiency with Microsoft Office, MSS, and Aramark systems while working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with a flexible schedule.
