Job summary

Aramark is hiring an Assistant Sanitation Manager in Mesa to help plan, execute and manage daily sanitation operations at the client site. You will help maintain safety, GMP compliance, and high hygiene standards while leading a team and coordinating with management.

The role requires 3–5 years of management experience in sanitation or production, plus an associate degree in business administration and solid MS Office skills. A strong teamwork mindset and flexibility are essential.

• Associate degree in business administration or equivalent.
• Computer literacy; ability to compile reports and create presentations in MS Office.
• Ability to read, write and understand the native language and follow written instructions.
• Knowledge of machinery related to custodial operations.
• Strong listening, interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Ability to work under time constraints and maintain customer service demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety, cleanliness and adherence to GMPs and work rules.
• Train and brief staff on sanitation procedures and safety orientation.
• Maintain quality controls and oversee MSS program operations.
• Prepare reports and collaborate with management for process improvements.
• Support in audits and daily hygiene and sanitation practices.

Under the supervision of the Sanitation Manager, the Assistant Sanitation Manager assists in the planning, execution and management of daily operation of sanitation activities at the client location. Client Retention/Customer Relationships / One Best Team / Quality/Productivity / Safety / Financial

Job Responsibilities

• Must be able to operate Microsoft Office programs, MSS programs, and Aramark programs.
• Must be able to work quickly and safely.
• Must implement, train, and follow all established work rules; including, but not limited to: GMPs.
• Must physically be able to stand a minimum of (8) eight hours to a maximum of (16) sixteen hours daily.
• Must be able to stoop and bend while lifting weight up to (50) lb.
• Must be able to climb onto and crawl under machinery as required.
• Must present and teach established safety orientation and safety training sessions.
• Must be able to implement and run the Aramark Sanitation OPX program.
• Must be able to complete a Go Spot Check site audit monthly.
• Must be able to assist in running MSS program.
• Performs quality control inspections of entire facility every month. Able to recognize acceptable and non-acceptable cleaning practices and make necessary changes.

Ensures that all areas and equipment are safe and sanitary.

Performs other duties as directed by Aramark management/client.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of previous management experience in a fast-paced sanitation/production environment.
• Associate degree in business administration.
• Computer literate: be able to compile reports, create presentations, understands Microsoft Office computer programs (excel, ppt, word)
• Must read, write and understand the native language, communicate (both verbal and written) effectively, and apply discretion and comprehensive understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions
• Requires knowledge of machinery related to custodial operations
• Requires listening, interpersonal, computer and leadership skills
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistics and apply elementary math functions
• Ability to work well under time constraints
• Must maintain friendly, efficient, positive customer service demeanor toward customers, clients and co-workers
• Is adaptable to customer needs

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
