Job summary

MSI Express, Inc. is seeking a Sanitation Lead to supervise the sanitation team and ensure proper cleaning and allergen controls in a manufacturing setting. The role supports the Sanitation Manager and requires strong adherence to procedures, safety rules, and timelines.

The Lead will coordinate activities, perform swabbing sampling, report mechanical issues, and maintain cleaning schedules while handling chemicals safely and complying with PPE requirements.

Qualifications

• Ability to work overtime when needed.
• Ability to follow work procedures and safety rules.
• Ability to read, understand and follow direction.
• Operational knowledge of production and sanitation equipment.
• Must pass OSHA Powered Industrial Truck training.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates sanitation team in performing all SSOPs on all equipment.
• Performs multi-variable platform surface swabbing sampling.
• Identifies and reports mechanical issues to Sanitation Manager.
• Follows and updates Master Cleaning Schedule.
• Handles and dispenses chemicals according to procedure.
• Understands proper PPE usage.
• Assists maintenance with shake-down during sanitation.
• Reports Food Safety and Quality issues promptly.
• Performs any other duties as instructed by management.
