Job summary

TULKOFF FOOD PRODUCTS LLC in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Sanitation Manager to organize and direct the sanitation crew to meet internal QC standards. You will schedule staffing, monitor time, and ensure sanitation activities for processing equipment align with SSOPs.

You will train staff on chemical handling and safety, help manage sanitation supplies within budget, and promote a safe work environment while ensuring effective cleaning and correct chemical concentrations.

Qualifications

• Five years’ experience in Food Manufacturing Quality/Sanitation.
• Experience with HACCP and Sanitation programs.
• Hands-on commitment to getting the job done.
• Prior management experience.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Willingness to work outside primary job responsibilities to support the business as needed.

Responsibilities

• Daily scheduling of sanitation personnel to ensure proper staffing and productivity.
• Track employee time, write performance reviews, and administer disciplinary actions if necessary.
• Ensure all scheduled plant sanitation activities for processing equipment are executed as defined in the SSOPs.
• Help coordinate appropriate chemical and safety training for all direct reports.
• Assist in overseeing the purchasing of sanitation supplies and operating within budget.
• Ensure proper concentrations of chemicals and temperatures are reached to maintain effective cleaning.
