Job summary

HelloFresh in Calgary is seeking a full-time Sanitation Manager for our Ready-to-Eat meals facility. You will oversee sanitation programs, coach supervisors and associates, and partner with Production, FSQA, Maintenance, and contractors to drive safety and compliance.

You will lead training initiatives, manage MSS, and ensure HACCP-aligned sanitation processes while supporting weekend/night shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Food Science, Biological Sciences, or related field, or equivalent hands-on sanitation experience.
• Minimum 3 years sanitation experience in food manufacturing, with at least 2 years in supervision.
• Experience in high-risk/high-care food manufacturing environments (RTE and meat) is a strong asset.
• Knowledge of HACCP principles and food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee in-house and external sanitation teams, ensuring performance, accountability, and compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
• Deliver training on chemical handling, SSOPs, and sanitation practices; maintain a structured sanitation training program.
• Manage sanitation labour planning, scheduling, contractor tasks, and performance management.
