Job summary

Beyond Meat in Devault, PA is seeking a Sanitation Line Lead to manage sanitation tasks on assigned production lines, ensuring equipment and surrounding areas meet company and regulatory cleanliness standards. You will supervise sanitation technicians, uphold SSOPs, GMPs, SQF and FDA requirements, perform ATP/environmental swabbing, and prepare lines for QA pre-op inspections and production start-up.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; sanitation training preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of sanitation experience in a food manufacturing environment; leadership or lead experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of SSOPs, GMPs, and chemical handling procedures.
• Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work in wet, cold, and humid conditions and lift to 50 lbs.
• Stand for prolonged periods and perform physically demanding tasks; flexibility for overtime.

Responsibilities

• Lead and monitor sanitation tasks on assigned lines according to the Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS) and SSOPs.
• Coordinate dismantling, cleaning, rinsing, and sanitizing of equipment and surrounding areas.
• Verify proper chemical usage, concentration, and contact time.
• Ensure lines are ready and released for QA pre-op inspections within the designated timeline.
• Maintain compliance with SSOPs, GMPs, SQF, and FDA regulations.
• Assist QA during pre-op inspections and correct deficiencies promptly.
• Perform ATP swabs for Pre-Op inspections and environmental swabbing for monitoring program.
• Train and coach sanitation technicians; report equipment damage or safety concerns.
