Beyond Meat, a leader in plant-based proteins, is seeking a Sanitation Line Lead to coordinate sanitation on production lines, ensuring clean, compliant equipment for startup and QA pre-ops. The role involves directing sanitation technicians, maintaining SSOP and GMP compliance, and supporting process improvements.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, at least 2 years of sanitation experience in food manufacturing, and the ability to lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; sanitation training preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of sanitation experience in a food manufacturing environment; leadership or lead experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of SSOPs, GMPs, and chemical handling procedures.
• Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work in wet, cold, and humid conditions and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and monitor sanitation tasks on assigned lines according to the MSS and SSOPs.
• Coordinate dismantling, cleaning, rinsing, and sanitizing of equipment and areas.
• Verify proper chemical usage, concentration, and contact time.
• Ensure lines are ready for QA pre-op inspections within the timeline.
• Maintain compliance with SSOPs, GMPs, SQF, and FDA regulations.
• Assist QA during pre-op inspections and correct deficiencies promptly.
• Perform ATP swabs for pre-op inspections and environmental swabbing.
