Job summary

Ambassador Personnel seeks a Sanitation Manager to lead a sanitation team in a Sussex County facility. This full-time leadership role requires hands-on oversight, training, and ensuring GMP and safety standards are met.

Ideal candidates will have 1–3 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, strong communication, and the ability to motivate a team in a meat processing environment. Bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Prior sanitation experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• English reading and writing skills required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus, but not required.
• Strong interpersonal and people-management skills.
• Proficient computer and analytical skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain high standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, supervise, and motivate sanitation team members.
• Provide training and development to improve team performance and growth.
• Ensure compliance with safety, security, GMP, sanitation, and company policies.
• Communicate performance expectations and recognize team accomplishments.
• Address performance concerns and enforce company policies consistently.
• Build positive relationships with employees while promoting strong attendance, work ethic, and teamwork.
• Help ensure the facility is clean and ready for production to begin as scheduled.
