Job summary

Compass Group USA, through Levy, is seeking a Sanitation Supervisor for Stanford University Athletics to enforce health standards and oversee sanitation across kitchens, concessions, bars, and premium dining spaces.

The role requires 1–2 years of sanitation-related experience, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and availability for evenings, weekends, and event days in a fast-paced venue environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of sanitation, kitchen operations, or environmental services experience.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and move across large venues.
• Hold or obtain a valid California Food Handler Card or CFPM certification where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Review health department audits and internal sanitation reports; implement corrective actions.
• Inspect concession stands, prep kitchens, pantries, and portable carts for cleanliness and health code compliance.
• Maintain inventory of sanitation supplies and handwashing stations; ensure availability of cleaning chemicals.
• Train and mentor team on safe food handling, dishwashing procedures, and allergen prevention.
• Oversee setup, mid-event maintenance, and post-event sanitization of service areas.
