Job summary

Dessert Holdings Inc. in Aurora, CO is seeking a Sanitation Worker to support our manufacturing operations and uphold the highest food-safety standards. The role follows the eight steps of sanitation and requires understanding SQF, HACCP, and GMP policies to ensure safety and quality for all products.

The shift is 12PM-8:30PM; candidate must be able to work in hot, cold, wet, and dry environments, and lift up to 50 pounds while maintaining a fast-paced, collaborative work rhythm.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge on Food Safety and Quality.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Flexible schedule which includes overtime; end-of-week deep cleaning.
• Must have a minimal ability to read and write in English.
• Follow GMP and maintain good personal hygiene.
• The position involves standing/walking on feet for at least 8 hours per day.
• Able to lift/move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Wear PPE and follow GMP policies.
• Work cooperatively with sanitation and other departments.
• Follow SSOPs including eight steps of sanitation.
• Frequently lift hoses, equipment and chemical containers.
• Learn to clean and sanitize food production equipment and environment.
• Perform all duties as assigned.
