Job summary

JBS USA in Omaha is seeking a Sanitation Hourly associate for the 3rd shift to clean and sanitize production areas and support GMP and safety training as required.

You will work in a fast-paced environment with exposure to heat, chemicals, and moving machinery, following safety protocols and using PPE.

Qualifications

• Previous meat processing or similar manufacturing experience preferred.
• Must be able to stand, walk, stoop, crawl for extended periods.
• Must work in extreme temperatures with exposure to moving machinery, hot water and slippery floors.
• Able to perform repetitive hand scrubbing and hose operations.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple chemicals with proper PPE.

Job Title: Sanitation Hourly-3rd shift

Reporting to: Sanitation Supervisor

Essential Job Functions

Cleaning and sanitizing production areas

Complete mandatory safety training as outlined for the job assignment.

Complete mandatory food safety/GMP training as outlined for the job assignment.

Experience/Skills/Abilities

• Previous experience in a meat processing plant or similar manufacturing setting preferred.
• Must be able to stand, walk, stoop, crawl for extended periods of time
• Must be able to work in extreme temperatures with frequent exposure to moving machinery, hot water and slippery floors.
• Work in a fast-paced environment, with repetitive motion work in hand scrubbing and running a hose.
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.
• Must be able to work with multiple chemicals with proper training and personal protective equipment.
