Job summary

JBS Foods in Omaha is seeking a Sanitation Hourly-3rd shift team member to clean and sanitize production areas and to complete the mandatory safety training and GMP food safety program. The position requires standing for extended periods, the ability to work in extreme temperatures around moving machinery and wet floors, and safe handling of chemicals with proper PPE.

Previous experience in a meat processing plant or similar manufacturing setting is preferred; JBS is an equal opportunity

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and sanitizing production areas
• Complete mandatory safety training as outlined for the job assignment.
• Complete mandatory food safety/GMP training as outlined for the job assignment.
• Previous experience in a meat processing plant or similar manufacturing setting preferred.
• Must be able to stand, walk, stoop, crawl for extended periods of time
• Must be able to work in extreme temperatures with frequent exposure to moving machinery, hot water and slippery floors.
• Work in a fast-paced environment, with repetitive motion work in hand scrubbing and running a hose.
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.
• Must be able to work with multiple chemicals with proper training and personal protective equipment.
