Responsibilities include sanitizing facilities and equipment, operating heavy cleaning gear, using PPE correctly, and adhering to all food safety protocols. The position requires lifting over 50 pounds and staying alert to hazards.

Responsibilities

JBS is hiring for quality, motivated, people to join the JBS team on oursanitationas general laborers. These positions include but are not limited to the following duties:

• Properly maintain and sanitize facilities (casings) machinery and equipment for efficient production.
• Operate heavy equipment.
• Must use proper personal protective equipment effectively.
• Expected to work hands on at high speed and times to lift over 50 pounds.
• Must keep work areas clean and follow proper food safety protocols.
• Mustadhere to JBS specifications in product to ensure quality ofmeat.
• Stay aware of your surroundings and notify a supervisor if you recognize a hazard.
• Perform various cleaning and sanitation tasks with little supervision including scrubbing walls, floors, tables, hallways, etc.
• Perform various other duties as needed or as assigned.
