Job summary

Niagara Bottling in Kansas City, MO, is seeking a Plant Sanitation Supervisor to ensure cleaning and sanitation policies meet food safety and quality standards. The role reports to the Plant Quality Manager and focuses on CIP/COP systems, audits, and documentation.

You will lead sanitation staff, develop procedures, and track metrics while collaborating with QA and plant teams to maintain compliance and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include several years in field or manufacturing and experience managing people or projects.
• Experience with sanitation procedures, audits, and safety protocols is required.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Direct sanitation staff to ensure safety and proper PPE usage on every shift.
• Develop, publish, and approve plant cleaning and sanitation procedures per policy.
• Ensure sanitation requirements across the plant, including sampling, testing, and audits.
• Track metrics such as chemical cost, CIP frequencies, and GMP plant audits.
• Provide environmental oversight and coordinate with QA for wastewater issues.
• Maintain documentation using Niagara systems for sanitation records.
