Job summary

American Peanut Ingredients (API) seeks a Sanitation Supervisor to ensure compliance with food safety standards across the facility and supervise sanitation staff on a designated shift.

You will plan shift workflows, coordinate with other supervisors, manage sanitation chemicals, supervise training, conduct RCA for environmental results, and prepare logs for safety and GMP compliance, playing a key role in audit readiness.

Qualifications

• Plan, assign, and direct workflow for sanitation staff on a shift.
• Coordinate with supervisors to align production and sanitation activities.
• Manage procurement of sanitation chemicals and safety training.
• Conduct RCA for environmental results and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and follow HACCP, GMP, PPE and safety policies.
• Prepare and maintain sanitation records, logs and reports.
• Prepare for third-party or customer audits and inspections.

Responsibilities

• Develop schedules and coordinate sanitation activities to meet specs.
• Provide onboarding and training on plant policies and procedures.
• Maintain chemical stocks and safety information on site.
• Audit sanitation activities and verify swabbing results.
• Ensure readiness for audits and inspections.
