Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking a Sanitation Supervisor to lead sanitation activities on the production floor, ensuring compliance with USDA and OSHA standards and company procedures. You will monitor cleaning processes, coordinate the sanitation team, and address issues in real time to keep the plant safe and ready for high‑quality production each day.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1+ years of supervisory experience, and strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; college degree in related field preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to make independent decisions.
• Basic computer skills; proficiency with Word and Excel a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee sanitation activities to meet company, USDA, and regulatory standards.
• Lead, train, and schedule sanitation team members for proper cleaning procedures.
• Conduct pre-op and post-op inspections to verify sanitation effectiveness and document compliance.
• Monitor chemical usage, cleaning methods, and equipment performance.
• Respond to sanitation issues promptly to maintain production readiness.
• Maintain sanitation records, logs, and audit documentation.
• Ensure safety regulations, PPE use, and safe chemical handling.
