The Grill at the Grove, located within Hugh Taylor Birch State Park in Fort Lauderdale is a unique outdoor location, just steps from A1A. We offer a great place for locals to eat, drink and explore nearby water and beach activities. We're looking for a reliable Sanitation & Facilities Associate to help keep the grounds clean, safe, and running smoothly. This role is all about making sure outdoor picnic areas, restrooms, and shared spaces are clean, well kept, and guest-ready every day. If you take pride in a clean space, work well as part of a team, and don’t mind staying active in a busy restaurant environment, we’d love to meet you.

Responsibilities

• Clean public and common areas
• Clean and restock restrooms and handwashing stations
• Report maintenance issues and damage to supervisor
• Assist with a variety of guest questions and requests
• Comply with department policies and procedures
• Work around guests professionally and courteously
• Work safely to avoid injuries and accidents, including wearing proper Personal Protective Equipment

Position Requirements

• Must be able to work a variety of day, night, weekend, holiday shifts
• Ability to work independently and complete a daily list of assigned work
• Must be able to spend the majority of the day walking, twisting, bending, pushing and pulling
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and carry up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to answer guest questions and give appropriate guidance

Education and Experience

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Experience: One (1) year of housekeeping and/or similar experience preferred
