Job summary

TreeHouse Foods in Hanover, PA is seeking a Sanitation team member for the day shift. You will maintain sanitary conditions, clean restrooms, and perform sanitation tasks to support Good Manufacturing Practices.

The role runs Thursday to Saturday and every other Wednesday, from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, at $21.62 per hour. Ideal candidates have experience following procedures and strong communication, with manufacturing experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to follow written instructions and process documents.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred, food manufacturing a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain sanitary conditions to meet Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Clean men’s and women’s restrooms at shift start and refresh supplies during shift.
• Complete sanitation work orders including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, scraping, and waste handling.
• Return all sanitation supplies to the sanitation room and assist with additional duties as needed.
• Collaborate with coworkers and management, communicate information, and participate in problem solving.

Job Description: About the Role

The Sanitation role at the Hanover location maintains sanitary conditions to ensure Good Manufacturing Practices by performing prescribed sanitation duties. You’ll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to: Cleans men’s and women’s restrooms at the start of each shift; refill supplies and repeats as necessary during the shift. Completes assigned sanitation work orders, which may include but is not limited to, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, scraping, emptying garbage, and checking and refurbishing supplies. Returns all sanitation supplies or tools to the sanitation room. Contributes to team effort by performing other assigned duties as needed. Maintains cooperative relationship with coworkers and management by communicating necessary information, responding to requests, building rapport, and participating in problem solving methods. Other duties as assigned.

Important Details

This is a full-time permanent role on Crew 2, which operates from 6:00a to 6:00p, Thursday, Friday and Saturday and every other Wednesday. $21.62/hr shift.

About You

You’ll fit right in if you have: Demonstrated experience following instructions/process documents and providing effective communication, both verbal and written. Experience in a manufacturing environment – food manufacturing a plus.
