Job summary

Ferrero International S.A. in Canton, Ohio, is seeking a Sanitation Clerk for the 2nd shift to maintain the sanitation cleaning schedule and support food safety and quality of the product.

We have a current opening for a Sanitation Clerk - 2nd Shift and are actively reviewing applications.

Sanitation Clerks are responsible for maintaining the sanitation cleaning schedule. This position supports food safety and quality of the product. The individual is assigned an area in the building and must take ownership of his or her job duties and assignments.

Main Responsibilities:

• Environmental cleaning (trash collection and removal, facilities cleaning, etc).
• Washroom cleaning activities.
• Expected to work safely, and efficiently.
• Work any assignment as directed by lead/supervisor.
• Participate in on-going training to enhance knowledge and skills.
• Responsible to uphold and maintain the food safety and quality systems.
• Monitor compliance of environmental regulations and provide guidance with compliance of regulatory audits.

About You:

Education or Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Understanding of basic arithmetic, reading level to understand instructions, policies, and procedures.

Physical:

• Lifting up to 50 lbs., bending, stooping, kneeling, walking, standing for extended periods, frequently repeated manual tasks.
