PS Seasoning in Iron Ridge, WI is seeking a Sanitation Associate for 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts to maintain a clean, safe production and warehouse environment and support food safety goals.

Responsibilities

• Daily cleaning and sanitation of production and warehouse facility.

• Daily trash and waste management including products, bags, boxes.
• Clean office areas, sweep/mop, garbage removal at both locations.
• Complete daily paperwork accurately.
• Operate forklift and skid loader as needed.
• Follow GMP, HACCP, and hygiene programs.
• Flexible schedule; may require weekend hours.

Salary Range: $21.00 To $23.00 Annually

This position requires a self-motivated, reliable employee to join our sanitation team reporting to the Food Safety Supervisor. This position supports the company’s production facility with the responsibilities that are included below.

1st, 2nd and 3rd Shift

What you’ll do:

• Daily tasks include cleaning and sanitation of the production and warehouse facility
• Clean equipment and work areas, using and mixing of cleaning solutions and hand tools
• Clean up work area and trash including products, bags, boxes
• Daily tasks may include cleaning of the office area, sweeping, mopping, garbage removal, at both office locations
• Performs other basic janitorial services to ensure the facility is clean and safe; tasks may include picking up trash, emptying receptacles, and stocking restrooms in the facility as required
• Complete daily paperwork accurately
• Operate forklift and skid loader to assist with duties
• Comply with GMP, personal hygiene, HACCP and other quality and safety programs
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, additional hours may be required on weekends
• Other duties as assigned by food safety and quality supervisor

• Physical requirements include lifting to 60 lbs., bending, standing and climbing
• Ability to work independently and with a team
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to use hand cleaning tools such as mops, brooms, and brushes
• Ability to use power cleaning tools such as vacuums and floor scrubbers
• Ability to follow and read instructions and use cleaning chemicals and agents properly
• Ability to learn cleaning procedures for industrial equipment
