Job summary

PS Seasoning & Spices Inc. in Iron Ridge, WI is seeking a Stager for the 2nd shift (2:00 PM – 10:00 PM) to support the staging department in a fast-paced production facility.

You will inspect materials, prepare raw materials for blending, use a forklift, and help ensure GMP/HACCP compliance while meeting daily production goals.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills required.
• Physical requirements include lifting and bending up to 60 lbs.
• Ability to work independently or with a team.
• Overtime on Fridays and weekends may be required.

Responsibilities

• Work in a fast-paced environment to meet production goals.
• Inspect materials, containers and products to ensure specs are met.
• Clean containers, materials, supplies and work areas as needed.
• Prepare raw materials for blending department.
• Measure, weigh and count products and materials.
• Record product and order information on forms and records.
• Label containers, tags and products.
• Operate a forklift to move materials.
• Comply with GMP, HACCP and safety programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

This position requires a self-motivated, reliable employee to join our staging department. This position reports to the Production Supervisor supporting the company’s production facility with the responsibilities that are included below.

2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM Monday – Saturday

What you’ll do:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment meeting production goal
• Examine and inspect materials, containers and products to ensure that specifications are met
• Clean containers, materials, supplies, or work areas, using cleaning solutions and hand tools
• Prepare raw materials for blending department
• Measure, weigh, and count products and materials
• Record product and order information on specified forms and records
• Mark and label containers, tags and products using marking tools
• Use forklift to move materials
• Comply with GMP, personal hygiene, HACCP and other quality and safety programs
• Other duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications:

• Basic math skills required
• Physical requirements include lifting, carrying and climbing with to 60 lbs. consistently. Other requirements are bending, standing, walking and climbing frequently for long periods of time.
• Ability to work independently or with a team
• Ability to work necessary overtime on Fridays and weekends
