Job summary

PS Seasoning in Wisconsin is seeking a self-motivated sanitation team member to support daily production with cleaning and sanitation of the production and warehouse facility.

Responsibilities include cleaning equipment and work areas, using cleaning solutions, completing daily paperwork, and adhering to GMP, HACCP, and safety programs; forklift operation may be required.

Qualifications

• Physical ability to lift up to 60 lbs and perform standing tasks for long periods.
• Ability to follow cleaning procedures and safety rules (GMP, HACCP).
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends if required.

Responsibilities

• Daily sanitation of production and warehouse facilities.
• Clean equipment and work areas; use cleaning solutions and hand tools.
• Tidy office areas, sweep, mop, trash removal, stock restrooms.
• Complete daily paperwork accurately.

This position requires a self-motivated, reliable employee to join our sanitation team reporting to the Food Safety Supervisor. This position supports the company’s production facility with the responsibilities that are included below.

1st, 2nd and 3rd Shift

What You’ll Do

• Daily tasks include cleaning and sanitation of the production and warehouse facility
• Clean equipment and work areas, using and mixing of cleaning solutions and hand tools
• Clean up work area and trash including products, bags, boxes
• Daily tasks may include cleaning of the office area, sweeping, mopping, garbage removal, at both office locations
• Performs other basic janitorial services to ensure the facility is clean and safe; tasks may include picking up trash, emptying receptacles, and stocking restrooms in the facility as required
• Complete daily paperwork accurately
• Operate forklift and skid loader to assist with duties
• Comply with GMP, personal hygiene, HACCP and other quality and safety programs
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, additional hours may be required on weekends
• Other duties as assigned by food safety and quality supervisor

• Ability to work independently and with a team
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to use hand cleaning tools such as mops, brooms, and brushes
• Ability to use power cleaning tools such as vacuums and floor scrubbers
• Ability to follow and read instructions and use cleaning chemicals and agents properly
• Ability to learn cleaning procedures for industrial equipment
