Job summary

PS Seasoning & Spices Inc is seeking a Sanitation Associate for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts at our Iron Ridge, WI location. This full-time role cleans production and warehouse areas, equipment, and offices to maintain a safe, compliant facility.

You’ll operate basic cleaning tools, assist with waste removal, and complete daily paperwork while adhering to GMP and HACCP programs. A flexible schedule including weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Physical ability to lift up to 60 lbs and perform cleaning tasks.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and safety procedures.
• Experience with cleaning industrial equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize production and warehouse areas daily.
• Clean equipment and work areas using cleaning solutions and tools.
• Manage trash, discarded products, bags, and boxes.
• Clean office areas, sweep, mop, and remove garbage as needed at both locations.
• Perform basic janitorial tasks to keep facility safe and clean.
• Complete daily paperwork accurately.
• Operate forklift and skid loader as required to assist duties.
• Follow GMP, HACCP and other quality/safety programs.

Sanitation Associate- 1st, 2nd and 3rd Shift

Salary Range: $21.00 To $23.00 Annually

This position requires a self-motivated, reliable employee to join our sanitation team reporting to the Food Safety Supervisor. This position supports the company’s production facility with the responsibilities that are included below.

1st, 2nd and 3rd Shift

What you’ll do:

• Daily tasks include cleaning and sanitation of the production and warehouse facility
• Clean equipment and work areas, using and mixing of cleaning solutions and hand tools
• Clean up work area and trash including products, bags, boxes
• Daily tasks may include cleaning of the office area, sweeping, mopping, garbage removal, at both office locations
• Performs other basic janitorial services to ensure the facility is clean and safe; tasks may include picking up trash, emptying receptacles, and stocking restrooms in the facility as required
• Complete daily paperwork accurately
• Operate forklift and skid loader to assist with duties
• Comply with GMP, personal hygiene, HACCP and other quality and safety programs
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, additional hours may be required on weekends
• Other duties as assigned by food safety and quality supervisor

• Ability to use hand cleaning tools such as mops, brooms, and brushes
• Ability to use power cleaning tools such as vacuums and floor scrubbers
• Ability to follow and read instructions and use cleaning chemicals and agents properly
• Ability to learn cleaning procedures for industrial equipment
