Halperns' Steak & Seafood is seeking a Sanitation Associate in Orlando, FL. The role involves performing a variety of sanitation duties across the facility, maintaining clean shipping and receiving areas, and ensuring food safety practices are followed.

Some general building sanitation duties will also be required.Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:Adheres to food safety and safe work practices.Cleans equipment if maintenance work needed during production time (Skinner, Ice Machine, etc).Clean and sanitize all fish and lobster.Clean and sanitize the shipping and receiving area.Clean and sanitize the specialty room and the equipment within it.Maintain a shipping and receiving area free of debris.Clean all the drains over the shipping and receiving area.Performs daily cleaning tasks such as tuna racks, ice vats, utility carts, etc.Perform any other duties as required.Qualifications:Basic knowledge of sweep, empty trash containers, reclean and re-sanitize all food processing equipment.Available to lift and push trash containers and empty vats.Physical Demands:While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to talk or hear.
