Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando, FL is hiring a Food Service Associate to operate, sanitize, and maintain dish machines and related equipment in a hospital setting. You will follow FDA Food Code and HACCP standards, handle chemicals safely, and keep production and loading areas clean and orderly.

You will unload and store stock, manage waste, and report issues to supervisors. Strong English communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently are required; Spanish is a plus in our

Job Description:

Operate, clean, and sanitize industrial dish machines, three-compartment sinks, and other heavy-duty equipment in compliance with FDA Food Code and HACCP standards. Use industrial-strength chemicals, cleaning supplies, and equipment safely and effectively, following all instructions and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of proper handling procedures. Maintain cleanliness and organization across all assigned areas—including production zones, dish rooms, storage areas, and loading docks—ensuring a safe and sanitary environment. Unload, inspect, and store food production stock orders; manage trash and recycling removal efficiently, ensuring proper sorting and secure handling. Communicate equipment or process issues promptly to supervisors, support team productivity, and contribute to continuous improvement and safety initiatives. Other duties as assigned.

Pay Range

$15.45 - $24.73
