Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando, FL is hiring a Food Service Worker to prepare and assemble hot and cold meals for patients and staff, following standardized recipes and production requirements.

You will stock and sanitize pantries, serve meals on tray lines, monitor temperatures, maintain clean work areas, operate dishroom equipment and café registers, and support other duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble hot and cold food items, including beverages, following standardized recipes and production requirements to ensure quality and consistency.
• Stock, rotate, and sanitize nursing pantries and bulk nourishments, maintaining accurate inventory records and billing documentation.
• Serve meals on tray lines, record food temperatures, and deliver trays to patients using proper identification protocols and isolation procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, floors, and equipment, using cleaning chemicals safely and effectively according to required concentrations.
• Operate dishroom equipment and café registers, process transactions accurately, and monitor sanitation logs and temperature records, taking corrective actions as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
