Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a Sanitation Teammate to maintain cleanliness across offices, DC, and transportation areas.

You will perform duties in offices, restrooms, break rooms, and loading zones to ensure a sanitary facility aligned with safety standards. The role emphasizes organization, teamwork, and attentiveness to detail on a day shift, with background checks and standard safety practices in place.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Able to perform accurate visual inspections.
• This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean work environment in the offices, break rooms, DC, and Transportation areas.
• Offices: vacuum and/or mop floors, empty trash cans, wipe surfaces, clean windows/walls, etc.
• Restrooms: Clean & sanitize surfaces, empty trash, sweep/mop floors, replenish supplies, etc.
• Break rooms, entrances and locker areas: Wash windows, sweep/mop floors, empty trash, clean surfaces, replenish supplies, etc.
• DC / Transportation: Sweep/mop floors, empty trash, clean dock plates, clean racks and put away pallets.
• Division Grounds: Pick-up / empty trash, maintain walkways, cut grass, empty cigarette cans
• Painting inside and outside of the facility.
• Other duties may be assigned.
