Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. in Plymouth, Michigan is hiring a Sanitation Teammate for a full-time shift from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Sunday through Thursday.

You’ll help maintain clean offices, break rooms, distribution centers, and transportation areas, with routine cleaning, trash removal, and surface sanitation. Eligible employees receive benefits starting on day 60, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, FSA/HSA, life insurance, paid time off after day one, and a 401(k) profit-sharing plan

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Able to perform accurate visual inspections.
• Read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks safely and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean work environment in offices, break rooms, DC, and Transportation areas.
• Office areas: vacuum/mop floors, empty trash, wipe surfaces, clean windows/walls.
• Restrooms: Clean & sanitize, empty trash, sweep/mop floors, replenish supplies.
• Break rooms/entrances: Wash windows, sweep/mop floors, empty trash, clean surfaces, replenish supplies.
• DC/Transportation: Sweep/mop floors, empty trash, clean dock plates, racks, pallets.
• Grounds: Pick up/empty trash, maintain walkways, cut grass, empty cigarette cans.
• Paint inside and outside of facility.
• Other duties may be assigned.

What You’ll Do As a Sanitation Teammate

• Maintain a clean work environment in the offices, break rooms, DC, and Transportation areas.

Qualifications You’ll Bring As a Warehouse Teammate

• At least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Able to perform accurate visual inspections.
• This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
