McLane Company, Inc is hiring a Sanitation Teammate to keep offices, break rooms, DC and transportation areas clean and sanitized. You will also support grounds keeping and occasional painting, while following safety protocols and a team-oriented culture.

The role offers a Pay Rate of $20 per hour with Sun–Thu scheduling, plus comprehensive benefits beginning on day 60, and opportunities for advancement within a long-standing logistics leader.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and understand English sufficient for job tasks.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean environment in offices, break rooms, DC, and Transportation areas.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies.
• Sweep, mop floors, empty trash, and clean windows/walls in offices and common areas.
• Clean dock plates, racks, and put away pallets in DC/Transportation.
• Maintain grounds such as walkways and grass; paint inside/outside when needed.

What you’ll do as a Sanitation Teammate:

• Maintain a clean work environment in the offices, break rooms, DC, and Transportation areas.
• Offices: vacuum and/or mop floors, empty trash cans, wipe surfaces, clean windows /walls, etc.
• Restrooms: Clean & sanitize surfaces, empty trash, sweep/mop floors, replenish supplies, etc.
• Break rooms, entrances and locker areas: Wash windows, sweep/mop floors, empty trash, clean surfaces, replenish supplies, etc.
• DC / Transportation: Sweep/mop floors, empty trash, clean dock plates, clean racks and put away pallets.
• Division Grounds: Pick-up / empty trash, maintain walkways, cut grass, empty cigarette cans
• Painting inside and outside of the facility.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications you’ll bring as a Warehouse Teammate:

• At least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Able to perform accurate visual inspections.
• This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
