TASTY BRANDS LLC is seeking a Sanitation staff member for the 3rd shift at our Owensboro, KY facility. The role involves maintaining clean and safe food packaging equipment and supporting sanitation processes in a fast-paced environment.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of sanitation experience in a food manufacturing plant and be able to work in a damp, cold setting with wet surfaces. This position is full-time and on-site.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stretch, climb, push, pull, lift up to 50 pounds and reach.
• Must have 1-year of sanitation experience in a food manufacturing plant.
• This position works in a damp, cold environment with wet, slippery surfaces.

Responsibilities

• Be able to disassemble, clean, and reassemble food packaging equipment while following safety guidelines.
• Must follow the site Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO) program, chemical safety training, and properly wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as appropriate.
• Adheres to the allergen control program guidelines including equipment cleaning and verification activities.
• Completes quality and food safety system documentation and verifies compliance to program standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
