Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is hiring a Sanitation Teammate to maintain a clean facility across offices, DC, and Transportation areas. The 2pm–10:30pm shift includes a $18.37 hourly rate with a $0.40 second-shift differential and a strong benefits package.

Benefits start on day 60 and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, an FSA/HSA, and company-paid life insurance, plus vacation, sick leave from day one, and paid holidays after 90 days. Applicants must be 18+ with a HS diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English at work level.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean work environment in offices, DC, Transportation areas and break rooms.
• Vacuum, mop floors, empty trash, wipe surfaces, clean windows/walls.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms; replenish supplies.
• Wash windows, sweep/mop floors, empty trash, clean surfaces in break rooms and entrances.
• Sweep/mop floors, empty trash, clean dock plates, and racks in DC/Transportation areas.
• Maintain walkways, cut grass, and manage exterior cleanliness.
• Paint inside and outside facility.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Pay Rate: $18.37 per hour plus .40 2nd shift differential
• Monday - Friday 2pm - 10:30pm

What you’ll do as a Sanitation Teammate:

• Maintain a clean work environment in the offices, break rooms, DC, and Transportation areas.
• Offices: vacuum and/or mop floors, empty trash cans, wipe surfaces, clean windows /walls, etc.
• Restrooms: Clean & sanitize surfaces, empty trash, sweep/mop floors, replenish supplies, etc.
• Break rooms, entrances and locker areas: Wash windows, sweep/mop floors, empty trash, clean surfaces, replenish supplies, etc.
• DC / Transportation: Sweep/mop floors, empty trash, clean dock plates, clean racks and put away pallets.
• Division Grounds: Pick-up / empty trash, maintain walkways, cut grass, empty cigarette cans
• Painting inside and outside of the facility.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications you’ll bring as a Warehouse Teammate:

• At least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Able to perform accurate visual inspections.
• This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
