Flow Control Group in Virginia seeks a skilled sanitary process piping assembler to fabricate and assemble high-purity stainless steel piping for sanitary process skids. You will work from engineering drawings to ensure tight fit-ups and compliant assemblies.

With 2+ years in sanitary piping, you’ll interpret P&IDs, align tanks and manifolds, and perform weld prep per 3-A, FDA, and ASME BPE standards. Join a precision manufacturing team supporting critical industries.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of dedicated experience in sanitary process piping.
• Proven ability to fit up complex valve manifolds and stainless steel process equipment.

Responsabilités

• System Fabrication: Measure, cut, and fit up high-purity stainless steel sanitary tubing and piping systems for custom process skids.
• Manifold Assembly: Assemble and fit up complex valve manifolds and process skids according to engineering drawings.
• Tank Fitting: Position, align, and fit up process vessels, reactors, and tanks into skid systems.
• Drawing Interpretation: Read and interpret Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), isometric drawings, and layout schematics.
• Weld Preparation: Ensure precise fit-ups and beveling for sanitary TIG/GTAW welding.
• Quality & Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to hygienic design standards (e.g., 3-A, FDA, ASME BPE) to ensure crevice‑free, contamination‑resistant joints.
